Cisco Live Melbourne 2015

Cisco Live Melbourne attracted over 5,500 networking professionals. Cisco, together with industry partners and SIRCA, announced the formation of the Cisco Internet of Everything (IoE) Innovation Centre. The Centre will bring together Cisco experts, Australian researchers and start-ups, to develop proof of concepts, features and functionalities and rapid prototyping for the IoE.

The Anuta Networks booth attracted a lot of visitors and we enjoyed meeting existing and prospective business partners. Most organizations we met are either in the process of transitioning to SDN/NFV or already doing Proof of Concepts. We also received significant interest from managed service customers for the CPE and Branch Automation use-cases. Their major challenges include delay in service provisioning, frequent updates to firewall rules and management of hundreds of load-balancers. They still don’t have a single database that has all the information about the network including routers, switches, firewalls and Load-balancers.

Customers were impressed with Anuta Networks NCX’s ability to discover customers’ entire multi-vendor physical and virtual network Infrastructure including device topology and configuration. They were also impressed by NCX other features including capacity management, service orchestration, support for OpenStack, MS Azure integration and Yang modeling for self-service.

SDN and NFV are gaining mainstream adoption and Anuta is thrilled to be at the forefront of this cutting edge technology!
