1. Filters
ATOM lets users filter data based on specific values, which helps create reports per the business requirement. These filters can be saved and used for analysis with the help of charts and graphs. For example, the Server Deployment Report lets users filter data based on parameters like Region, Market, Vendor, or status of various components involved in the server deployment.
2. Charts
Charts make an attractive visual appeal for quick data analysis. Support for various forms of charts adds additional features for data analysis in ATOM’s reporting. ATOM supports charts in the form of pie, bar, stacks, and lines.
3. Dashlets
Reports can be created using the features mentioned above, and dashlets can be created from these reports, which can be pinned to the available dashboards in ATOM. These dashlets give a quick view of the activities taking place. The dashlets can be in charts, grids, maps, and top-N activities. They provide insights into the respective data under consideration without getting into the nitty gritty of that section. The dashlets can also be downloaded and used on external tools.
4. Dashboard
There are dashboards for various types of applications supported by ATOM. When a user creates any report, they can pin it to the dashboard of their choice. ATOM supports dashboards for devices, workflows, compliance, assurance, alerts, external integrations, servers, etc. Users can add/delete dashboards per business requirements with just a click of a button. All dashlets can be pinned to these dashboards for quick reference. It can combine grid view, charts, graphs, and all other supported dashlet types. The dashlets in the dashboard can be rearranged to move the critical ones to the top. When a particular dashlet is no longer required, it can be easily removed from the dashboard. Thus providing easy customization of the dashboard. Similar dashlets can be pinned to a dashboard to determine relevant data and make informed decisions.
Example: The Software Compliance Dashboard shows compliant and non-compliant graphs based on device count, device family group, or vendor group. It can be customized to add more such dashlets.
5. Views
ATOM supports different views, and users can easily switch between them. By default, ATOM has a grid view for the reports that show data in relevant columns. A card view has been added for workflow reports where it is most relevant, as it shows the status and other statistics related to each workflow, which can be used for analyzing run time information, failures, and various other aspects.
6. Date Ranged Data
There is a provision for filtering data based on date range, allowing data analysis between specific days of the year.
Import/Export
In addition to all the features mentioned above, ATOM allows users to import or export reports and use them externally as required. These exported reports are available in a CSV format.
All of these features come out of the box, and no additional action is required to use them. These will allow users to have analytics at hand, provided that the admin has given the user the appropriate permissions. The reports are customizable with minor changes and can be easily modified based on the workflow being developed and cater to the business unit’s requirements.
