We have now integrated and tested Dell XR-11 and Supermicro servers with the ATOM server lifecycle manager. In addition, any servers supporting REDFISH APIs can easily be onboarded and managed using ATOM SLM. These include the latest server hardware from OEMs like Lenovo, Huawei, etc.
ATOM’s built-in workflow engine can quickly help you upgrade/downgrade the server BIOS and firmware. In addition, users can use ATOM as a file server to store the upgrade files for easy access.
ATOM SLM can collect server health data using API calls using BMC data points.
ATOM SLM workflow is modular and customizable. Using the NBI, users can build multiple integrations, including external inventories/IPAM/ITSM, etc.
ATOM has a built-in ZTP workflow that can take care of the entire server lifecycle, from server onboarding to server management. The servers go through the PXE boot process. Once the PXE boot is complete, the workflow proceeds with the following steps
- Login mgmt. – Update any admin passwords, create new accounts, etc.
- BIOS Upgrade
- Firmware Upgrade
- Deploy ESXi hypervisor
- Update ESXi Password
- NIC Driver Upgrade
- Server Inventory
